Endo perio lesions are the infections which involve both pulp and periodontal tissues of a tooth. As described, in this disease both endodontic and peridontal regions are covered with a lesion therefore a careful examination is essential for its treatment. Its causes are still a matter of debate however it is normally seen that one of the major cause is dental anxiety or negligence towards a dental problem.
The disease can progress both the ways i.e. from periodontal to endodontic region or vice-versa. During the diagnosis it is important to understand the origination point of disease so that the proper treatment can be initiated as early as possible.
Depending upon the degree of inflamation or problem treatment may vary.It may involve pulpectomy in which the tooth pulp is removed completely or partially. Apart from that use of antibiotics is common to stop the growth of infection in lesion.

Dysphagia is a disease in which it becomes hard for the patient to swallow the food. Though there may be several reasons behind Dysphagia but one of the common reason is the problem of dry mouth. In dry mouth problem the saliva does not get created in the sufficient amount which is of course an important ingredient to ensure proper swallowing of food.
Diagnosis of Dysphagia is very important as difficulty in swallowing may be an indication of carcinoma (lung cancer). In case if it is found to be the dry mouth it can be taken care of by following proper food habits and using xylitol containing chewing gums which help in the creation of mouth saliva and thus provides relief to the patient.

Biopsy

Biopsy is a method of diagnosis which is usually used when the problem can not be diagnosed visually and need a small sample of leison for the next level examination. Usually it is considered as a small surgery where the patient is first given with local anesthesia and then a small piece of leison is removed surgically and then sent to the laboratory for further analysis.
In many a cases the biopsy may happen at home or at office while working.
Usually biopsies are painless and once it is done the patient is advised to rinse mouth with lukewarm salt water.

Wax bite is a technique used to measure the bite of a person. Hyperplastic lesions usually begin with a pile of granulation tissue. It is caused due to sharp edge tooth cavities, sharp edge bones which are normally due to negligence or dental anxiety.

To address this problem it starts with differential diagnostics. The early inflammatory lesions are different from hemangioma or a metastatic tumor. It is also noticed that most of the inflammatory hyperplastic lesions, in their early stages have some identifiable irritants. This characteristic can define the exact problem and help dentist to start with the treatment.
